[解決済み] 要素のみのCSSスタイルのリセット/削除

質問

以前から言われていたことだと思うのですが、何度検索しても出てきません、私の専門用語が間違っているのでしょうか？

少し前に見たツイートで、特定の要素に対してスタイルシートで以前に設定されたスタイルを削除するCSSルールが利用可能であることを示唆していたのをぼんやりと覚えています。

良い使用例としては、モバイルファーストの RWD サイトで、小さな画面のビューで特定の要素に使用されるスタイリングの多くが、デスクトップのビューで同じ要素のために「リセット」または削除する必要がある場合が挙げられます。

というようなことを実現するためのCSSルールがあります。

これは原則的には正しいのですが、個人差があります。例えば 例えば、textareaのような特定の要素は、デフォルトでボーダーを持っています。 このリセットを適用すると、それらのtextareaのボーダーが少なくなります。
